Representative Kenny Yuko has introduced House Bill 214

Representative Kenny Yuko has introduced House Bill 214 – The Ohio Medical Compassion Act – into the 129th Ohio General Assembly.

Representatives sponsoring the bill include Robert Hagan (D-60), Dan Ramos (D-56), Mike Foley (D-14), Mark Okey (D-61), Nickie Antonio (D-13), and Ron Young (R-63).  This is two more sponsors than the same bill had in the last G.A.  The good news is that this time around the bill has bipartisan support thanks to Republican Ron Young.

The bad news is that all of the sponsors of the bill are located in the Northeast region of the state, around the Cleveland area.  For the bill to succeed, it needs support from representatives all over the state, especially from large cities such as Cincinnati and Columbus.  If you live in these areas please take the time to contact your representatives and urge them to support H.B. 214.

I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, and epilepsy and by passing this bill it could possibly get me off some of these pills I have to take everyday all day long. By doing that it will take some strain off my liver. Half of the medications don't work anyway, but still have to take them. I can't sleep and don't have an appetite most of the time. This could help me and many others like me. I would like to Thank You for the support of legalization of Marijuana.
